Job Summary

Own relationship management for a large Commercial Real Estate portfolio as a senior individual contributor. Originate, structure, and execute complex transactions while growing revenue through loans, deposits, and cross-selling Fifth Third products. Underwrite and approve credit requests within lending limits (or recommend higher-approval loans), monitor customer performance and risk, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation. May also oversee analysts and associates and help develop talent.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain key Commercial Real Estate client relationships and manage them for maximum profit potential.
•Originate, qualify, and lead new business opportunities while producing and maintaining profitable CRE loan volume through cross-selling.
•Underwrite credit requests, approve real estate loans within lending limits, and recommend loans requiring higher approval authority.
•Monitor customer performance and industry information to assess acceptable loan risk, ensuring proper reporting and documentation.
•Coordinate client-facing activities (including credit support and partners such as Treasury Management) and may provide oversight and development of analysts, associates, and program participants.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
•8+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Finance, or a related field.
•4+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience and sales management preferred.
•Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
•Demonstrated sales and negotiation experience with strong credit knowledge and/or underwriting skills.
