Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret blueprints, drawings, procedures, and measurements to plan weld layouts.
  • •Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements and set up components per specifications.
  • •Operate cutting machine, beveling machine, and grinders to prepare parts for welding.
  • •Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in required positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
  • •Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws, and maintain equipment safely.

Key Requirements

  • •ITI in Welding or a Mechanical Diploma.
  • •Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar industry.
  • •A valid welding certificate from a reputed institution is preferred.
  • •Proven experience as a welder using GTAW (manual) and mixed GTAW+SMAW processes.
  • •Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
