Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide decision-making financial analysis and support to business and group stakeholders.
  • •Oversee monthly, bi-annual, and annual reporting processes for accuracy and on-time submission.
  • •Ensure annual financial statements and required tax/royalty returns are prepared/submitted timeously and accurately, including SARS audits and legislative compliance.
  • •Oversee GL account reconciliations and clear outstanding items within reporting timelines.
  • •Direct and control support staff activities, including identifying training and development needs, while coordinating auditor and board reporting deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Registered CA(SA).
  • •Completed SAICA Articles.
  • •5 years’ experience in a similar position within the mining industry.
  • •A valid South African Driver’s license.
  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself (and alignment with safety standards).
