Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive rigs and accessories returning from the field, inspecting physical condition and logging damage, cleanliness, and missing components.
  • •Power up each rig to perform functional QC, confirm camera, footage, audio, storage, charging, and timestamps, then capture and review a short test recording.
  • •Approve rigs for outbound field use with a final go/no-go, ensuring they leave charged, correctly configured, and with the right accessories.
  • •Quarantine rigs that fail QC, log the exact fault, escalate hardware faults to the Hardware/IT team, and ensure repaired rigs are re-checked.
  • •Maintain clean, complete QC documentation in Google Sheets and keep QC/quarantine areas organized and controlled.

Key Requirements

  • •Have some technical or hardware familiarity to handle phones/cameras, SD cards, cables, and basic device settings.
  • •Basic computer knowledge and comfort working in Google Sheets.
  • •High attention to detail and accuracy, following checks precisely.
  • •Discipline to follow a QC checklist the same way every time without shortcuts.
  • •Exposure to device QC, hardware testing, electronics, or camera/AV equipment is preferred.
