Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop technical reports, drawings, layouts, structural designs, and loading cases for OLE.
  • •Produce structural steelwork, wiring arrangements, and bonding plans.
  • •Perform mechanical and geometric calculations for the OLE system.
  • •Work independently on new OLE design ranges and develop technical specifications.
  • •Establish interfaces with systems/disciplines/stakeholders, attend interdisciplinary reviews, answer construction queries, and manage quality control.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of experience in OLE/OCS projects (new electrification and renewals) with an understanding of the railway industry.
  • •Experience in the UK or Australia.
  • •Proficiency in CAD tools, including Microstation and/or AUTOCAD.
  • •Ability to work remotely with offices from different countries.
  • •BEng or MEng in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering; Chartered Engineer desired (US/Canada/UK/Australia).
