Job Summary

Develop and deliver overhead line equipment (OLE) design work for international railway projects, producing technical reports, drawings, layouts, structural designs, and loading cases. Create steelwork, wiring arrangements, and bonding plans, perform mechanical/geometric calculations, and develop technical specifications. Work independently on new OLE design ranges, establish interfaces with stakeholders and disciplines, participate in interdisciplinary reviews, and support construction queries with quality control management.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop technical reports, drawings, layouts, structural designs, and loading cases for OLE.
•Produce structural steelwork, wiring arrangements, and bonding plans.
•Perform mechanical and geometric calculations for the OLE system.

•Establish interfaces with systems/disciplines/stakeholders, attend interdisciplinary reviews, answer construction queries, and manage quality control.

Key Requirements

•2–5 years of experience in OLE/OCS projects (new electrification and renewals) with an understanding of the railway industry.
•Experience in the UK or Australia.
•Proficiency in CAD tools, including Microstation and/or AUTOCAD.
•Ability to work remotely with offices from different countries.
•BEng or MEng in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering; Chartered Engineer desired (US/Canada/UK/Australia).
