Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a subject-matter expert for systems engineering and systems integration across the UK & Ireland SESA leadership team.
  • •Lead and assure application of systems engineering across major rail projects and programmes, using a whole-system/system-of-systems approach.
  • •Develop proportionate Systems Engineering Management Plans and lifecycle strategies, including system definition and stakeholder analysis.
  • •Lead requirements management strategies and systems integration strategies for major programmes.
  • •Provide senior intervention where complexity, technical quality, or integration risk requires support, and lead professional development of systems engineering practitioners.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • •Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional standing.
  • •Strong practical experience in requirements management, systems integration, and system architecture.
  • •Experience with interface management, V&V, configuration/change management, and technical assurance.
  • •Evidence of client and stakeholder-management skills plus commercial and bid experience.
