Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with development and implementation of EHS policies, standards, and injury prevention programs.
  • •Lead regional incident investigation reviews for near misses, workplace injuries, and commercial vehicle accidents, and ensure root-cause/corrective actions completion.
  • •Provide leadership, coordination, and communication with field leaders and branch associates to drive continuous improvement.
  • •Serve as primary subject matter expert on DOT/FMCSA requirements, including roadside inspection performance and vehicle accident investigations.
  • •Oversee environmental program compliance and reporting (Haz Waste, EPCRA, NPDES, SPCC) and analyze risk and trends to support improvement decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Risk Management, or an Engineering field.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of experience in an EHS role.
  • •Practical hands-on working knowledge of OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and EPA regulations.
  • •Experience developing and leading commercial driver safety and DOT/FMCSA compliance programs for a large commercial fleet.
  • •Relevant technical certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), DOT, Smith Systems, or environmental (CHMM) certifications (preferred).
