Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, simulate, implement, and test multi-layer mixed-signal PCBAs for Apollo end effectors from concept through production.
  • •Develop and execute comprehensive DVT/PVT validation plans, including designing test fixtures and using lab equipment to verify performance, safety, and reliability.
  • •Conduct root-cause analysis and debugging for hardware/firmware defects and implement corrective actions.
  • •Manage component lifecycle through PLM systems and align with hardware vendors and contract manufacturers to support design-for-manufacturability and production scaling.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally and provide technical leadership/mentorship to electrical engineers on hardware design, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and hands-on electronics design, prototyping, and debugging.
  • •Experience developing electronics for robotic end effectors (EOAT), prosthetics, wearables, motor drives, firmware, and communication protocols (Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN).
  • •Competence with CAD tools such as Altium, including developing and maintaining CAD design rules.
  • •Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems such as Arena and TeamCenter and owning component lifecycle through production scaling.
  • •Knowledge of three-phase PMSM/BLDC motor controls, FOC, advanced switching topologies (FET/GaN), thermal analysis, power protection, and sensor integration.
