Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute brake system hardware tests per engineering test plans and provide feedback on test plans and execution.
  • •Gather, maintain, and compile laboratory/material test results and produce drawings, test schematics, reports, and engineering documentation.
  • •Support engineering design changes with lab testing as applicable, including PO creation for lab/non-product material.
  • •Maintain the Brake Control Systems lab and equipment (calibration, maintenance, configuration control, verification testing, and inventory management).
  • •Coordinate with engineering and EH&S to implement and maintain lab compliance (including 5S and lock-out-tag-out) and manage on-site vs. off-site storage.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
