Join QuEra's Engineering team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, designing, testing, and documenting mechanical systems for next-generation neutral atom quantum computers. Lead 3D CAD development (Inventor) and DfM/DfA practices, collaborate with physicists and suppliers, and help scale prototypes from concept to manufacturable modules. You will produce detailed drawings, validate designs, and uphold engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

•During testing and development phases, identify issues, evaluate options, review solutions with the US team, and implement fixes.
•Assist with inspection, assembly, and installation of quantum computer modules.
•Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
•Specify, design, procure, and prepare prototypes and assist with product testing and validation.
•Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and manufacturability requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
•Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably Inventor) and experience using a PDM software (preferably Autodesk Vault).
•Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
•Familiarity with product lifecycle management and configuration management processes.
