Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive mechanical design execution of ISA across architecture input, part design, prototyping, build support, verification, and design iteration.
  • •Own ISA mechanical verification and validation for assigned scopes, including defining, executing, and closing test plans and technical risks.
  • •Collaborate with FW, Servo, and IQ teams to ensure ISA system functionality, performance, and quality across the product lifecycle.
  • •Serve as a key technical interface to cross-functional teams (EE, FW, ID, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplies) to align on requirements, trade-offs, and execution plans.
  • •Lead relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers and provide guidance/mentoring to less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year (or graduate) degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related) or equivalent work experience.
  • •Typically 4–7 years of work experience in engineering design and solutions across the hardware development lifecycle, or an advanced degree with 3–5 years of experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with mechanical design execution and new product development across the product lifecycle.
  • •Ability to define, execute, and close verification and validation test plans, including managing technical risks.
  • •Strong CAD and simulation capability, including 3D modeling and finite element methods.
