Job Summary

Develop and maintain operational compliance standards to ensure adherence to federal regulations, reliability standards, and company policies. Lead analysis of new or revised NERC/operational requirements, translate regulatory obligations into enterprise processes, and provide technical guidance across operational organizations. Monitor and evaluate compliance controls, analyze trends and systemic risks, and develop remediation strategies. Serve as the operational compliance subject matter expert during audits and help deliver compliance training and strategic communications.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead analysis of new or revised regulations, requirements, and reliability standards.
•Translate regulatory requirements into operational processes and enterprise compliance solutions.
•Develop and maintain complex operational standards and procedures across the organization.
•Lead monitoring and evaluation of compliance controls, analyzing trends and systemic compliance risks, and develop remediation strategies.
•Serve as functional lead during compliance audits and provide technical leadership, corrective action support, and compliance training/strategic communications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technical field, or another related discipline (or equivalent education and experience).
•Typically requires 5+ years of experience in compliance, including utility operations, cybersecurity, or auditing.
•At least two years of FERC/NERC compliance experience.
•NERC certification is preferred.
•Advanced knowledge of applicable regulations and reliability standards, including the ability to translate requirements into operational processes.
