Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive incoming cutting tooling and bar stock; work from work orders, packing slips, schedules, and prescribed procedures.
  • •Set up, blank, grind, and mill parts; change over for different sizes/styles; mount/dress/balance wheels and adjust feed rates.
  • •Make manual measurements and enter data into control computer adjustments; load bits/cassettes and monitor machine operation.
  • •Follow inspection procedures and frequencies to check in-process and finished parts for dimensions, finish, and appearance; deburr using brass tools.
  • •Maintain ongoing production and set-up time records; keep the workplace clean and follow TPM/5S and all safety rules.
