Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise production line/department operations by establishing and adjusting procedures to meet production schedules, efficiencies, and budget objectives.
  • •Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics while meeting production schedules.
  • •Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded, including departmental reports, attendance/staffing, and yields.
  • •Identify and communicate opportunities for process optimization and participate in process improvements, monitoring metrics and addressing unfavorable trends.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe and sanitary environment, mentor/train employees, and follow safety initiatives and disciplinary processes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree with relevant college course work preferred.
  • •Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience; 3 years in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
  • •1 year of leadership experience covering timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution, and issue resolution; 3 years preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations, including OSHA, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) and manage strong organizational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
