Job Summary

Design and develop firmware and digital hardware for Electronic Warfare systems, supporting new product development through requirements analysis, sub-system design, modeling and simulation, and design verification testing. Work in integrated product teams to deliver complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications. Responsibilities include circuit analysis, circuit simulation, FPGA programming, design documentation, and hardware/software integration at the component and circuit-board level.

Key Responsibilities

•Work in the Hardware/Firmware Engineering Department for Raytheon’s Electronic Warfare Systems.
•Perform requirements analysis and decomposition, sub-system design, modeling, and simulation.
•Conduct design verification testing and support integration of hardware and software at the electronic component and circuit-board level.
•Develop digital design solutions involving embedded systems and FPGA development.
•Support new product development and integrated product team activities for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience in digital signal processing.
•Experience with Intel/Altera and/or AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
•Experience designing in Matlab/Simulink with DSP Builder and HDL Coder blocksets.
•Experience with digital hardware design and firmware integration.
