Job Summary

Construction Inspector role supporting the PM/CM team on Cincinnati, OH projects. You will collect and analyze site data, perform inspections using surveying equipment, ensure compliance with codes and permits, document findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from the physical work site, surveys, structural plans, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, flow diagrams, material sampling, and other matrices for field inspection activities.
•Use survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment to perform inspections on projects of basic to moderate complexity to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and permits.
•Provide technical assistance to ensure proper inspection, construction, and functioning of buildings, highways, roads, bridges, structures, infrastructure, equipment, and/or mechanical systems according to design specifications.
•Verify load calculations and contract interpretation, escalate differences or problems for resolution.
•Monitor project phasing and contractor work to ensure quality control and contract compliance; document progress and issues.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Minimum of 7 years of relevant post-education experience in construction inspection.
•Kentucky Certifications for Grade & Drain Inspector.
•Valid state driver's license.
•Knowledge of relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
