Key Responsibilities

  • •Recommend and implement efficiency ideas and publish periodic updates on initiatives for reporting.
  • •Ensure staff utilization meets required levels and initiate process efficiency to achieve FTE/sustainable cost savings.
  • •Manage standardization and globalization projects, work toward shared services for Global DB2 Admin & Sysprog POD, and monitor team quality processes and targets.
  • •Mitigate and record risks early to minimize/no impact to project deliveries; maintain high-level relationships and identify service improvement opportunities.
  • •Monitor customer satisfaction via surveys and implement action plans to improve service levels; motivate and develop team members and ensure staffing/backfills and audit/compliance reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •13+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, production support, and release management for database environments.
  • •Strong DB2 for z/OS expertise, including relational database concepts, performance tuning, database sizing, system support, security, and documentation.
  • •Experience implementing RACF/ACF2 DB2 security rules and access authority; build and maintain high availability and replication setups.
  • •Proven leadership managing large teams in productivity-driven environments, including staff appraisals/reviews and project delivery in critical infrastructure settings.
