Key Responsibilities

  • •Digitize the NBC Sports Group videotape, disc, and film archive.
  • •Organize and enter metadata for physical media into the physical media tracking system.
  • •Review physical libraries to determine which assets should be digitized and prepare tapes for out-of-house digitization.
  • •Assist with editing metadata and trimming for new digital files; track returned media shipments for long-term storage.
  • •Support production teams with footage searches, restores, EDLs, and screeners, and ensure LTO/ODA assets are updated as they move.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA degree in a relevant TV Production or related field with equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 1 year using Avid non-linear editing software and Avid Interplay Media asset management.
  • •Minimum 1 year supporting a Windows operating environment.
  • •Minimum 1 year of prior studio/remote sports production experience.
  • •Strong sports knowledge and communication skills; ability to work independently.
