Serve as the first responder for medical incidents at a large construction site in Hobart, IN. Provide immediate emergency care, triage injuries, and escort employees to external providers as needed. Key Responsibilities

•Provide first-response care for injuries, illnesses, and medical incidents onsite
•Maintain a fully stocked quick response bag within arm’s reach
•Administer first aid and determine when referral to an Occupational Health Clinic or Emergency Room is necessary
•Escort and support employees to external medical providers when further evaluation is needed
•Maintain detailed logs of injuries and incidents and conduct follow-up monitoring

Key Requirements

•Active EMT Certification (EMT or EMT-B) in Indiana
•Experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid response
•Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with workers, foremen, and safety leadership
•Excellent organizational skills for maintaining detailed logs and documentation
