Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide first-response care for injuries, illnesses, and medical incidents onsite
  • •Maintain a fully stocked quick response bag within arm’s reach
  • •Administer first aid and determine when referral to an Occupational Health Clinic or Emergency Room is necessary
  • •Escort and support employees to external medical providers when further evaluation is needed
  • •Maintain detailed logs of injuries and incidents and conduct follow-up monitoring

Key Requirements

  • •Active EMT Certification (EMT or EMT-B) in Indiana
  • •Experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid response
  • •Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with workers, foremen, and safety leadership
