Job Summary

Build and evolve Hopper’s multi-tenant travel commerce platform, connecting partner cardholder behavior to the right offers and insight. Own backend features end-to-end—from scalable foundations to partner-facing surfaces—while orchestrating AI agents and feedback loops to ship safely and faster. Partner with PMs and business teams to define roadmap, drive async decisions with specs, and deliver scalable patterns for launching new partner experiences.

•Identify and execute codebase improvements that help both humans and AI agents move fast and ship safely.
•Own features end-to-end across backend and partner-facing surfaces, using AI tooling across the stack as needed.
•Architect scalable solutions and foundational patterns to efficiently launch new partner experiences.
•Drive decisions and consensus asynchronously through thoughtful documentation and specs.
•Collaborate with PMs and business partners to define and refine the roadmap.

Key Requirements

•Strong product thinking, with quality and architecture anchored in customer experience rather than technical elegance.
•A track record of delivering results quickly, including diving into unfamiliar codebases.
