Job Summary

Operate a tractor trailer and other trucks to transport materials and waste across the Fort Sill installation to Landfill and DLA in line with SOPs. Perform daily vehicle inspections, load/unload cargo safely, and maintain required documentation and accurate records, logs, and system updates (including tonnage reporting). Ensure strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, and installation safety/security requirements and coordinate deliveries with a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate medium-duty trucks, dump trucks, and tractor trailers to transport materials and waste to Landfill and DLA.
•Complete daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow DOT/OSHA and installation safety rules.
•Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques.
•Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and comply with installation access and security requirements.
•Maintain accurate records, logs, and system updates (Tonnage Reports, DPAS, LMP) and report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
•Valid CDL A with air brakes endorsement.
•2+ years of successful tractor-trailer operating experience and a clean driving record for the past seven years.
•Ability to pass pre-employment drug test/background screening and security screening to obtain/maintain a CAC.
