Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment, including spotting vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Learn oil well operations such as pressure/volume calculations, plug landing pressures, hydrostatic/differential pressure, resulting forces, and cement blending calculations.
  • •Assist with cement pumping and mixed equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, ADC systems, and related delivery/storage systems.
  • •Verify correct line-up of valves on bulk systems and surface manifold equipment.
  • •Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and associated paperwork/reports while ensuring HSE and environmental compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or similar education, with skills acquired through successful completion of high school or equivalent.
  • •0-6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing I.
  • •Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
  • •May require I-Learn courses: Cementing II and Service Tools I.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with others in a field service environment.
