Job Summary

Transform social media into a real-time business intelligence engine by leading conversational listening and executive measurement storytelling. Partner with Akamai’s Global Social Media team to monitor LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube signals, track competitor message shifts, and turn insights into monthly readouts, quarterly POVs, and weekly, data-driven recommendations for editorial direction, video formats, and executive voice activation.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct real-time conversational listening and signal detection across social platforms to identify relevant cloud, AI, and cybersecurity narratives.
•Monitor and analyze competitor message shifts to stay ahead of market trends.
•Own executive-ready measurement storytelling, including monthly readouts and quarterly POVs on trust-earning content.
•Deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations to the social team on editorial direction, video formats, and executive voice activation weekly.

Key Requirements

•Senior-level experience in social listening, digital analytics, or market intelligence, ideally in tech, cloud, or cybersecurity.
•Deep proficiency with enterprise social listening platforms and native channel analytics tools.
•Exceptional data storytelling skills, able to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.
•Strong strategic mindset to turn conversational signals into actionable creative and editorial recommendations.
•Ability to deliver ongoing measurement storytelling and recommendations to guide social content and engagement.
