Job Summary

Own strategic sourcing and commodity management for interconnects, connectors, and cables within the Boards and Systems Supply Chain group. Develop and drive global sourcing strategies that improve supply assurance, component quality, and gross margin. Partner closely with cross-functional hardware, electrical, and mechanical teams, manage supplier roadmaps and risk, lead RFQ and supplier selection for NPI, and deliver capacity planning to support high-volume ramps and SOL project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Formulate, communicate, and accomplish connector and cable commodity sourcing strategies across global product development.
•Build cross-functional alignment with Hardware, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering to enable Boards and Systems Supply Chain requirements.
•Develop and manage supplier relationships, conduct supplier business reviews, and align roadmaps to improve supplier value and performance.
•Negotiate Master Service Agreements, execute cost reduction strategies, and maintain lead-time and cost systems for sourcing decisions.
•Deliver supplier risk management, BOM risk reduction, capacity planning for high-volume NPI ramps, and drive supplier selection through the RFQ process in partnership with Engineering.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 168,000 - 258,750 annually

Key Requirements

•BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
•Minimum 8+ years of experience in global commodity management with a proven track record managing a connector, cable, and optics supply base.
•Deep understanding of interconnector and cable technologies, market, manufacturing process, cost drivers, and supply landscape.
•Ability to innovate on strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and supplier performance measurement systems.
•Strong analytical skills (cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection, and supply/demand analysis) and excellent negotiation and leadership in supplier management and contracts.
