  • •Define comprehensive, testable system requirements with product managers, designers, and developers for new hardware products from product-level to component-level
  • •Assure system performance and product integrity via system architecture definition, system-to-subsystem design reviews, and component selection criteria
  • •Define and implement cross-functional system behaviors and telemetry to optimize lifetime performance, health, and field diagnostics
  • •Perform bring-up and performance verification during new product introduction

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years hands-on definition, design, analysis, testing, modeling, and delivery of highly reliable electro-mechanical systems in rapid development environments
  • •Apply a systems-engineering approach to identify issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains and work across multiple domains to find the critical path
  • •Design and execute system bring-up and performance verification, including mechatronic prototyping and fixture development
  • •Use design-for-reliability principles and physics of failure to manage integration risks for electronics subsystems such as PCBAs, motors, batteries, cameras, compute modules, or sensors
  • •Use Python and/or SQL to analyze datasets for specification definition, risk assessments, and reliability analysis, including scripting to execute commands on electro-mechanical systems
