Job Summary

Operate AeroVect’s autonomous airport tractors at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, supervising vehicle movement as they transport live cargo across the airfield. Log vehicle behavior, performance, and key metrics; perform pre- and post-shift inspections of vehicles and hardware; and manually drive autonomous baggage tugs to and from storage. Work alongside engineering to trial new features and help improve safe handling in complex driving scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate AeroVect’s autonomous vehicles at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
•Log vehicle behavior, performance, observations, and key metrics.
•Supervise autonomous baggage tugs and manually drive them to and from their storage depot.
•Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of vehicles and their hardware systems.
•Work with the engineering team to trial and test new vehicle features while interfacing with people interacting with the vehicle during cargo loading.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 29 - 32 hourly

Key Requirements

•Experience handling specialty vehicle types in complex environments.
•A valid US Class C Driver's License, with 3+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
•Experience in a lead or sole-supervisor role with demonstrated responsibility.
•Reliable, detail-oriented communication skills and alertness to monitor autonomous vehicle performance.
•Able to work flexible hours (including weekends) and pass federal background checks to receive and maintain an airport security badge.
