Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain district plant inventory by ordering, receiving, and allocating supplies and equipment.
  • •Prepare and type annual requisitions, orders, and reports; handle related correspondence.
  • •Receive, inspect, and reconcile incoming materials with purchase orders; document and track damages and discrepancies.
  • •Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock and issue materials per requirements while maintaining records.
  • •Handle hazardous materials storage/transport, including identification, segregation, preservation, and segregation of waste for proper disposal.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in the same storekeeper/warehouse functions.
  • •Diploma in a related field (preferred: degree).
  • •Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment Management system principles.
  • •Knowledge of environmental and health impact of chemicals stored in the warehouse.
  • •Ability to operate a personal computer and pass a typing test at 35 words per minute.
