Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop new products, systems, and sub-assemblies aligned to requirements, specifications, and gate reviews.
  • •Translate product requirements into robust engineering designs, including concepts, detailed designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • •Support the full NPD lifecycle from concept generation through validation/verification to industrialisation and launch.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to deliver NPD and i2V projects.
  • •Coordinate with suppliers on component design, alternative materials/technologies/methods, and ensure validated solutions hand over smoothly into manufacturing and supply chain while escalating technical risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • •4+ years’ experience in product development, cost-down, value engineering, or design optimisation.
  • •Experience with rotating equipment and pneumatic/mechanical systems (e.g., suspension, braking) and related mechanical products.
  • •Able to translate requirements into detailed engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
