Heavy Equipment Mechanic (III Corps Passback)

Repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy power equipment used at Fort Hood, diagnosing malfunctions and ensuring efficient operation. Operate and inspect machinery to identify defects, dismantle and reassemble equipment, replace major components, and test overhauled units. Weld broken parts and structural members as needed, supporting maintenance of a wide range of cranes, shovels, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and tracked/wheeled vehicles in indoor and outdoor environments.
