Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain backend services and internal products that support menu planning and operational decision-making.
•Contribute to the development of a global platform used by planners across multiple HelloFresh markets.
•Drive automation initiatives that improve the efficiency and scalability of planning processes.
•Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into simple and reliable solutions.
•Take ownership of problems from discovery through implementation and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Go backend experience with a strong fundamentals in API design, testing, debugging, and writing maintainable code.
•Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and writing efficient SQL queries.
•Familiarity with cloud-native development and tooling, such as Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
•Proactive, self-driven problem solving with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions forward.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
