Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide academic and practical instruction and unit assessment to students in the classroom and on training devices.
  • •Support students with assistance including remedial training, revision, and assessment re-sits.
  • •Record student progress and participate in signing training records.
  • •Evaluate and validate courseware within the F35 Training Management System (TMS) that affects Avionics trade training, and report via the Training Systems Support Centre as required.
  • •Review courses detailed within TMS and propose/raise necessary changes, while promoting health and safety in line with relevant policies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 47,000

Key Requirements

  • •Level 3 qualification in Aerospace Engineering/Aircraft Maintenance in an appropriate discipline (Avionics/Electrical) or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience of military aircraft maintenance, including experience at supervisory level.
  • •Knowledge of military avionic systems including Air Intercept RADAR / GMTI RADAR, L16, EO Sensors, and cryptographic key material handling.
  • •Level 3 qualification in education and training or equivalent experience (desirable).
  • •Ability to instruct and assess students using classroom and training devices, including supporting remedial training and assessment re-sits.
