Job Summary

Set up, operate, and maintain conventional and CNC machine tools (including milling, turning/lathe, and surface grinding) to support precision manufacturing activities. Perform inspections using gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment, troubleshoot machines, and read/interpret blueprints and technical instructions. Maintain accurate shop records and keep work areas and equipment clean, while escalating machine or tooling issues to the supervisor to protect product quality and safe working conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up, operate, and maintain conventional or CNC machines in the cell/process (e.g., milling, lathe, surface grinding, shaping, hobbing, broaching).
•Set up and use measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures to perform accurate inspection checks.
•Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
•Read and interpret blueprints and work according to technical instructions and drawings while maintaining pertinent shop records.
•Maintain a tidy and clean work area and promptly notify the supervisor of machine or tooling problems affecting quality or safe work conditions.

Key Requirements

•NITEC / Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering (or equivalent).
•At least 2 years of working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
•Basic command of written and spoken English.
•Able to work weekly rotating shifts.
