Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, shipping capabilities across the tech stack
•Lead the technical development of Instawork Lens and Instawork Radiant, including data enrichment, labeling, and QA loops
•Architect and scale cloud environments and video transcoding pipelines using AWS, ECS, and observability tooling
•Design and optimize petabyte-scale data pipelines to securely process global video and telemetry data
•Mentor mid- and senior-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural discussions to raise engineering standards

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems, database internals, and networking
•Full-stack development experience (Python, Django, React or similar) and willingness to learn new languages/tools
•Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, ECS/Docker, CloudWatch) for high-throughput/data-heavy apps
•Strong fundamentals in software design, scalability, and maintainability
•Startup mindset: able to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and ship quickly without sacrificing quality
