Job Summary

Conduct Thorough Examination and Test (TExT) inspections of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems across schools, hospitals, and manufacturing sites. You’ll work hands-on with air movers, ducting, hoods, and filtration components, then produce electronic inspection reports for clients. The role is physically demanding and customer-facing, with travel within your local area and structured training to build LEV inspection capability.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out TExT inspections of LEV systems, including air movers (fans), ducting, hoods, and filtration.
•Work with your Engineer Surveyor team and Senior Operations Team Leader, and deliver reports after inspections.
•Climb at height using ladders/work platforms to examine ducting and take readings from high-level test points.
•Prepare and submit examination reports using electronic reporting for fast delivery to clients.
•Travel within your local allocated work area and operate in a hands-on, customer-facing environment.

Salary: GBP 45,539 annually

Key Requirements

•Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Mechanical engineering.
•Have a full valid UK driving licence.
