Job Summary

Schedule and expedite on-time deliveries of finished products to customer job sites, coordinating with production to support backlog reporting and communicate customer needs. Prepare weekly shipment plans, adjust schedules based on customer requirements, and keep customers informed on job status and delivery timelines. Handle shipment documentation, research transportation vendors, manage large call volumes, and ensure safety practices such as load securement.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare weekly shipment schedules based on shipment volume and proactively communicate plans with customers and production teams.
•Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate customer needs and proactively provide job status and delivery timelines.
•Prepare shipment documents, certifications, and supporting information for each shipment.
•Review and research transportation vendors and programs to reduce, replace, and improve transportation costs.
•Handle large volumes of calls and prioritize shipment pickups, deliveries, and maintenance while ensuring safety practices are enforced; manage outside haulers and coordinate loading crew for next-day deliveries.

Key Requirements

•At least 2 years of dispatch experience.
•Previous precast concrete experience is a plus.
•High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
