Key Responsibilities

  • •After onboarding, operate portal cranes and reach stackers.
  • •Handle trimodal container transfers between inland vessel and truck.
  • •Carry out operator and safety checks, recognize technical malfunctions, and report them early.
  • •Inspect and manage standard, refrigerated, and hazardous containers.
  • •Support container checks per IICL standard, minor maintenance, cost estimates, inventories, winter service, terminal cleanliness, and preparation of special containers.

Key Requirements

  • •Have technical understanding and ideally experience operating forklifts, cranes, heavy loads, or other large equipment; career-changers are welcome.
  • •Hold a Class B driver’s license; a flurfördermittelschein is an advantage and can be obtained during onboarding.
  • •Be able to work shifts and perform tasks in higher areas, with reliable commuting to the site at changing shift times.
  • •Communicate confidently in German; English skills are an advantage.
  • •Work responsibly and safely, be willing to learn, support the team, and have flexibility for operational changes; IICL knowledge is desirable and will be developed in onboarding.
