Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and deliver designs and drawings for construction projects and technical reports for masterplanning and planning applications
  • •Take financial responsibility for projects ensuring delivery to budget, programme and technical standards
  • •Work on multi-disciplinary projects and liaise with clients at local and national levels
  • •Provide direct line management and mentoring to early career professionals to ensure technical excellence
  • •Assist in preparing fee proposals and participate in business development activities

Key Requirements

  • •Civil Engineering degree and Chartered status or approaching Chartered status
  • •Experience in highway design and highway drainage design
  • •Strong post-graduate experience in a civil engineering environment
  • •Ability to produce masterplans, site appraisals, reports to support planning applications, design calculations and construction drawings
  • •Experience using Civils 3D or PDS and applying highways guidance (DMRB, Local Authority) and drainage design codes (InfoDrainage)
