Job Summary

Work on both automation and manual testing for microservices-based applications. Build and execute web test automation using core Java, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and Rest Assured. Support CI/CD execution knowledge via Jenkins QE pipelines. Create and manage test plans, scenarios, cases, data, environments, track defects, produce reports, and collaborate with test leads, managers, developers, and clients in an Agile testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute automation tests using core Java, TestNG, and Selenium for web applications.
•Implement API testing for microservices using Rest Assured and tools such as Postman, JMeter, and SoapUI.
•Participate in preparing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases across module, integration, system, and regression testing.
•Prepare test data and test environments, analyze test cases, execute them, and track defects with required details for developers.
•Prepare summary and lesson-learned documents, attend status calls, communicate with test leads/test managers/clients, and conduct team review meetings.

Key Requirements

•5 to 8 years of testing experience in an area of specialty, with a bachelor’s degree in the specialty.
•Strong core Java programming skills.
•Hands-on automation testing experience with TestNG and Selenium, plus BDD Cucumber framework experience.
•API testing experience using Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, and Rest Assured for microservices frameworks.
•Experience with test management tools such as ALM and Jira (e.g., for managing test cycles in Agile).
