Senior Security Engineer to lead hardening and vulnerability management for Ebury Brazil. Key Responsibilities

•Hardening efforts: Own end-to-end delivery of technical security projects in the region, including hardening work on business-critical systems and backups for disaster recovery.
•Vulnerability lifecycle: Assist in implementing and maintaining vulnerability discovery systems and provide guidance for remediation teams.
•Regional cloud infrastructure hardening: Design and implement security controls for GCP/AWS footprints in the South America (São Paulo) region, including network segmentation, IAM, and encryption.
•Brazilian regulatory & compliance alignment: Ensure compliance with LGPD and BACEN security requirements as needed.
•Technical guidance: Promote DevSecOps practices and security tooling/documentation across Brazil-based engineering and product squads to improve developer experience.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in security engineering and a proven track record delivering technical security projects end-to-end without impacting uptime or performance.
•Strong understanding of network security, identity management (IAM), operating systems and other cybersecurity fundamentals.
•Deep technical expertise in GCP, AWS or other cloud providers.
•Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD technologies and processes.
•Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash), with experience navigating large codebases and working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
