Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and keep mill machinery running by supporting mechanical systems such as pumps, conveyors, compressors, bearings, and rollers/chains.
  • •Inspect equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions and investigate mechanical issues.
  • •Troubleshoot problems to improve equipment reliability and implement safe, reliable repairs to maximize uptime.
  • •Identify and request relevant parts needed to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • •Support and maintain a safe work environment while collaborating with maintenance, operations, production staff, and supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • •Ability to perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.
  • •Basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery components.
  • •Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on heavy manufacturing machinery.
