Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the UK digital team to design, develop, and deploy scalable Power BI reporting solutions.
  • •Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards, including data models aligned to business requirements and performance optimization.
  • •Integrate and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, Python scripts, ArcGIS, APIs) using Power Query and DAX.
  • •Implement automated data refresh processes, monitor data pipelines, and support enterprise reporting needs.
  • •Apply governance best practices including data security, workspace management, version control, deployment pipelines, and create supporting documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and performance optimization.
  • •Strong experience building interactive visualizations using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • •Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (relationships, measures, calculated columns) including star schema design.
  • •Proficiency with SQL (queries, joins, basic optimization) and integrating data from multiple sources such as SharePoint Online, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • •Experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation and familiarity with REST APIs, JSON/OData, and automated refresh/data pipeline monitoring.
