Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and provide content knowledge, resources, and guidance on effective and innovative middle school writing practices.
  • •Impart knowledge and support teachers through coaching sessions, study groups, lesson demonstrations, and analysis of pre/post discussions.
  • •Coordinate and facilitate pilots of instructional materials and software implementations.
  • •Monitor student progress through K12 interactive lessons and daily assessments; collect and review work samples.
  • •Coordinate reading intervention initiatives for students in grades K-5 and alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
  • •Five years of teaching experience.
  • •Two years of successful coaching/mentoring experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •Tennessee middle school English teaching certification and ability to maintain certification/professional development hours.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new technologies and teaching platforms.
