Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and manage strong relationships with key global suppliers; serve as escalation point for supplier performance issues.
  • •Define, lead, and monitor global supplier and category strategies (with focus on consumer fastening/hand tools) and align them to Global Procurement priorities and SBU goals.
  • •Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and service level agreements; monitor markets and proactively renegotiate prices.
  • •Lead supplier selection through RFP/RFQ/RFI, conduct benchmarks and price/value analyses, and use modern purchasing tools to create TCO value.
  • •Lead program and project management for initiatives in productivity, working capital, and supplier performance; coordinate milestones and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Global Procurement / Strategic Sourcing organizations, including supplier selection, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
  • •Minimum 5 years of category strategy or material field strategy experience.
  • •Strong negotiation skills with knowledge of procurement and sourcing techniques, supplier integration, and continuous improvement.
  • •Strong financial and analytical skills, including strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain preferred.
