Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of 5 Maintenance Planners to develop and execute short-term maintenance plans and schedules for mobile and field fleets.
  • •Oversee maintenance planning for light vehicles and ancillary equipment.
  • •Develop long-term maintenance plans and budgets for timeframes up to 18 months.
  • •Contribute to equipment strategies and capital planning.
  • •Manage key technical information and ensure forecasts are consistent and up to date.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a mechanical trade qualification, an engineering degree, or have experience in asset management.
  • •Have demonstrated experience in a leadership/supervisor role within a maintenance team at a large open cut mining operation.
  • •Have previous maintenance planning experience for field and/or mobile equipment, with strong maintenance strategy knowledge.
  • •Focus on long-term solutions, ongoing innovation, maintenance costs, and workplace efficiency improvements.
  • •Knowledge of SAP, Obzervr, Link One, and OEM parts systems is highly desirable, along with familiarity with QLD Coal Mining Legislation and coal mining practices.
