Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out electrical installation, cable laying, glanding/termination/dressing for power, lighting, and control/instrumentation systems.
  • •Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment including motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, distribution boards, and control panels.
  • •Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, termination drawings, and equipment layouts.
  • •Perform electrical testing (continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, earth continuity) and assist with testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
  • •Follow PTW, LOTO, electrical isolation, and hazardous-area procedures; report hazards/defects; coordinate with supervisors and engineers; maintain housekeeping and complete work records.

Key Requirements

  • •ITI / Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade.
  • •3–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, EPC, construction, or industrial maintenance.
  • •Experience with electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of industrial electrical systems.
  • •Hands-on LV electrical systems experience, with preferably exposure to MV systems.
  • •Ability to read and understand electrical drawings (SLDs, wiring diagrams, cable schedules) and perform electrical testing using appropriate instruments.
