Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage review of electrical design packages across independent engineering and owner scopes of work.
•Lead and manage electrical design of renewable energy projects from preliminary design through IFC to meet budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
•Support electrical power system studies and calculations, including steady-state, dynamic, and transient stability simulations.
•Analyze and troubleshoot high-voltage transmission and distribution protective relay settings, transformer issues, and fault analysis.
•Develop protection, control, and metering system design for electrical switching substations (138kV, 240kV, 400kV) and ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical or related field.
•7+ years of relevant technical experience in substation engineering and transmission line design.
•3+ years of experience working with high-voltage systems.
•Experience developing/reviewing equipment specifications and substation design, including substation equipment selection.
•Working knowledge of NESC, NEC, ANSI, and IEEE codes/standards, plus power system studies and simulations.
