Job Summary

Design, develop, integrate, verify, and document Do-178C-compliant EICAS software for the A220 program. Lead project planning and earned value management, and develop strategies plus common methods and procedures across the organization. Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to junior engineers, support technical issue resolution, and perform software integration and debugging on proprietary hardware while preparing engineering estimates.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, integrate, verify, document, and ensure Do-178C compliance of the EICAS application for the A220 program.
•Perform project planning, execution, and earned value management for the A220 EICAS application.
•Develop strategies for systems/projects/programs and drive common methods and procedures across the organization.
•Provide guidance on complex engineering activities and train, instruct, and mentor junior employees.
•Support technical teams with timely issue resolution; perform software integration and debugging on company proprietary hardware.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years progressive software engineering experience in Aerospace/Defense, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years in the same area.
•5+ years experience with Earned Value.
•5+ years experience with Project Management.
•5+ years experience with embedded software development in C.
•5+ years experience with embedded software development using the Atlassian tool suite.
