Job Summary

Lead the 2nd shift manufacturing operations team in Raytheon’s Circuit Card Manufacturing factory, overseeing 15–20 assembly and inspection employees. Drive production flow to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements while maintaining a safe work environment. Execute workforce planning, scheduling, hiring/training, time and attendance, and overhead control. Collaborate daily with cross-functional partners and use lean and Six Sigma to identify root causes and implement corrective action plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure production teams meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing production flow.
•Execute schedule and cost performance and manage capital identification and overhead expenses.
•Perform workforce planning and forecasting, including hiring and training, time and attendance tracking, and staffing needs.
•Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures and actively lead safety improvement projects.
•Identify root causes of failure modes and develop/implement corrective action plans using tools, systems, and metrics.

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years).
•Supervisory and leadership and/or manufacturing experience is required.
•Experience using lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (or similar process improvement methodologies).
•Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry is preferred.
•Experience supervising bargaining unit employees and using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access) is preferred.
