Job Summary

Optimize manufacturing processes, product transfers, and new product launches to align department results with customer satisfaction, safety, cost, quality, and on-time delivery. Ensure products are built to specification by interpreting drawings, standards, and codes. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, layout changes, Poka Yoke), coordinate capacity and time studies, improve scrap and FPY using statistical tools like SPC and Cp/Cpk, and manage tools/equipment selection, validation, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

•Assure products are manufactured according to specifications by interpreting product drawings, standards, and codes.
•Promote modern manufacturing systems to maintain a competitive advantage.
•Lead lean manufacturing implementation (5S, layout changes, Poka Yoke) and improve BOMs and routings.
•Coordinate time studies, capacity analysis, and manufacturing cell design.
•Manage safety/ergonomics and improve scrap and FPY deliverables using statistical tools such as SPC and Cp/Cpk.

Key Requirements

•Interpret product drawings, norms, standards, and established codes to ensure products are manufactured to specification.
•Lead lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, layout changes, and Poka Yoke, and improve BOMs and routings.
•Use statistical tools such as SPC and capacity studies (Cp/Cpk) to improve scrap and FPY deliverables and process quality.
•Develop and maintain calibration routines for equipment and tooling, with support from maintenance/quality as needed.
•Evaluate and maintain safety and ergonomic conditions for owned processes while complying with safety policies.
