Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end roadmap pieces for deployment processes, including serialized gated deploys and automated schema migrations with rollback.
  • •Improve environments and parity with reliable local/remote dev, sandboxes, and preview/review environments.
  • •Build agent-first developer infrastructure, including MCP gateways, governance, cost management, and foundation model selection.
  • •Implement and standardize infrastructure-as-code using tools like Spacelift/OpenTofu, including drift remediation and consolidation work.
  • •Create repository standards and internal tooling such as an ownership registry and developer portal, plus observability and security capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of software engineering experience with significant time in infrastructure, platform, or developer-productivity work.
  • •Confidence with AWS, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu or similar), CI/CD systems, and Linux/container fundamentals.
  • •Strong general-purpose programming skills, primarily TypeScript with Python where it fits.
  • •Ability to build pragmatic developer-experience improvements with sane defaults and tooling that helps engineers ship successfully.
  • •Comfort building in-house when appropriate and evaluating whether third-party tools earn their place.
